This past weekend I showed my new friend Alberte around the West Village. Alberte is a Danish fashion blogger and photographer who emailed me before she arrived in New York a couple weeks ago asking to meet up so of course I said yes. I love meeting new people from across the globe – it’s the best. This is a major reason why I love the internet and this site – I get to meet dope people from around the world, learn about their cultures and then become besties with them. Life is beautiful.

We wandered around the streets for a bit and then ended up to one of my favorite coffee shops on Charles Street – it’s super low-key and they have an amazing almond ice chai latte. PLUS the decor is extremely Pinterest -aka it’s a perfect spot to take Instagram pics for my clients.

After we chatted a bit I took her to Sockerbit which is a really cool Scandinavian candy store a couple blocks away. I had been once but didn’t really understand the candy however this time Alberte explained EVERYTHING to me. I am now a Scandinavian candy pro. A lot of the candy was actually Danish so naturally I had to try most of them – I definitely approve. Get all the weird looking gummies – trust me.

But about the outfit. This floral romper from the Lookbook Store is such an easy piece to throw on for a weekend stroll – super brunch-esque. But these diamonds are what I am really obsessing over lately…Diamonds are my bf. These pieces are all from Fascinating Diamonds which has the BEST selection. Look how clear these diamonds are though – seriously I can’t take them off. Men, shop their site here. Women, thank me later. Or be a girl boss and buy your own. Duh. Enjoy the finer things, you deserve it.
