The Amalfi Coast feels like the richest, most pure and blissful place on Earth. The vibe is authentic and happy, yet relaxed and content. The people are full of positive energy. The food is so fresh, yet rich in taste. The scenery looks like a real life painting. Basically, the Amalfi Coast is 43 miles of heaven on Earth. We’re already making plans to spend at least a few weeks here next summer. I rarely like to travel to the same place twice, however the Amalfi Coast is an exception. Positano

Positano is the most famous town in the Amalfi Coast and I was shocked that it was actually even more beautiful in person. This town is home to some of the most luxurious hotels and restaurants in the Amalfi Coast including Le Sirenuse, Il San Pietro, and Il Tridente. There is something for everyone in Positano whether you like lounging on the beach under and umbrella, shopping, or sight seeing. Positano is definitely one of the most luxurious things to do in the Amalfi Coast. This town is a great home base because the port makes it easy to get to the other towns and islands such as Capri or Ischia. The easiest way to get to Positano is by taking the ferry from Sorrento.

Boat Tour

I always do a bit of research before traveling because I want to experience the best. I found both of our boat tours on TripAdvisor after reading a ton of reviews, and to be honest they couldn’t have been better. We booked semi-private boat tours for Capri and the Amalfi Coast. I originally wanted to book our own private boat, but I love meeting new people while traveling. So I booked semi-private tours which means you embark on your adventures with about 6-8 other people. We met so many cool people from all around the world, so I’m really happy we did:) Definitely book the same tours we did if you want to experience pure bliss.

Amalfi

Amalfi is actually a town in the Amalfi Coast. Besides the beautiful beach, there are also many hotels, restaurants, and shopping to experience here. I highly recommend you stay at the luxurious Hotel Santa Caterina which is a romantic village annex just outside the town.

Capri

Capri is by far my favorite place on Earth. I want to spend the rest of my summer’s here. Not only is the boat ride over beyond magical, but then you get to the island and you’re just in pure awe. It’s such a clean, beautiful, and rich town. I still can’t believe it’s real. Next time I go I really want to check out the Capri Palace which looks amazing from what I found online. Make sure you check out Wond&rland which is the best luxury boutique on the island. They also carry my silk scarf line A.M. CLUB so if you need a luxe accessory on your trip, pop into this store and say hi to the owners for me! Besides shopping, the beaches are beautiful, and food is amazing. If you have time pop on over to Anacapri which has a handful of Michelin star restaurants. Capri is without question one of the most luxurious things to do in the Amalfi Coast.

Franco’s Bar

Franco’s Bar at Le Sirenuse Hotel is the most beautiful bar setting in Positano. The view is flawless, the drinks were the best I’ve had, and the people were all beautiful – smiling ear to ear. Such great vibes, I didn’t want to leave. Don’t leave here without sipping some limoncello – it’s the best – I promise.

Hotel Santa Caterina

The most luxurious five star hotel in Amalfi is Hotel Santa Caterina. Not only do they have their own private beach, but this historic hotel is perched on the cliffs of the Amalfi Coast. You’ll feel like you’re in your own world/heaven.

Sorrento

Sorrento is a great place to stay for a few days because it’s very central and many of the boat tours leave from here – including my favorite one to Capri. I recommend you walk the streets in the evening, eat the best pizza at Da Gigino, and watch one of the most beautiful sunsets.

Lounge at the beautiful beaches

The Amalfi Coast is full of beautiful beaches. My favorite beaches were Spiaggia Grande in Positano, and all of Capri’s beaches. Relax, read a book, take a dip, drink Limoncello, or just do nothing at all. The world is your oyster.

Eat at a Michelin Star restaurant

Italy is hands down home to some of the best food in the world. My favorite Michelin Star restaurant we dined at was Al Mare at the Santa Caterina Hotel. Situated on a terrace just above the hotel’s Beach Club, the restaurant offers a picture-perfect setting for an evening you will never forget. The live band, view, and delicious food was unreal – this was for sure one of my favorite nights of our trip. I know pizza might not sound luxurious to some, but this pizza was the best I’ve ever had. Even the desserts were unforgettable. You have to try the fresh sorbets!

Africana

Okay, this might throw some of you off but trust me. If you like to dance and want to go to a luxurious lounge like no where else – you have to visit Africana. We went here with our friends and had such a fun night. It doesn’t get packed until 12 so if you arrive early and it’s empty, don’t worry. Wait it out and get ready to dance your butt off. This club is situated in a cave on the water and people come from all over the world which makes the crowd even better.
