How To See The Best Of Barcelona In 3 Days
Barcelona is such a beautiful and vibrant city full of inspiring architecture, a relaxed & romantic culture, delicious tapas, and of course – plentiful sangria. Barcelona, Spain is the perfect balance of ancient history and modern conveniences. After spending a few days in Barcelona, I put together an itinerary on how to see the best of Barcelona in 3 days.
Day 1
Check into your hotel. We stayed at the Tryp Barcelona Apolo Hotel which was conveniently located and had a yummy breakfast included. We were able to walk everywhere, but there’s also a metro right out front.
Gothic Quarter
Walk around to see the beautiful architecture. Catedral de Barcelona and Casa Batlló are beautiful sights to see. This is one of my favorite areas in Barcelona, especially at night time.
Placa de Catalunya
Also known as the center of Barcelona. Go for the architecture.
La Rambla Street
Shop and eat here. It’s a vibrant hub full of restaurants, museums, churches, and more.
Mercat de la Boqueria for lunch
There is something for everyone at this place. It is a food market that has different types of food. They have the freshest juices, delicious desserts, and savory snacks.
Walk around the port, shop at Maremagnum, and enjoy dinner at The Green Spot
We stumbled upon the port on accident, we were just going towards the water because it was so hot, and then we found this whole little area.
Day 2
Montserrat Mountains
Take a day trip to Montserrat Monastery where you will find the 8 Stairs To Heaven sculpture. This trip only takes about 4-5 hours.
Park Guell
Make sure to hike up to Bunkers del Carmen lookout.
Tapas and sangria at Guell Tapas
Day 3
La Sagrada Church
La Barceloneta Beach
Get lost and explore 🙂
