yara hotel palm springs amy marietta

Once summer comes to a conclusion, I always find myself making my way out to Palm Springs for some extra sunshine, relaxation, and creative inspiration. Palm Springs is such a special place (pretty sure it’s a vortex) in so many ways from the unique boutique hotels to the mid-century modern architecture to the vintage finds – Palm Springs has been one of my happy places for the past 7 years. I recently stayed at the Yara Hotel which just opened, so I must share because it was such a delight 🙂

The Yara Hotel is situated in a prime location – walking distance to a few restaurants, bars, and shops like Bar Cecil and Market Market, across the street, or you can take a short drive to downtown for more shops, restaurants, museums, etc. I love hotels that feel like you’ve been transported somewhere else, but you’re still conveniently close to town – and Yara Hotel is just that – a mediterranean oasis in the desert.

Some things that I love about the Yara Hotel in Palm Springs is that it’s adults only, there’s only 10 rooms so it’s intimate, the curated music and vibes, it’s minimal mediterranean decor both in the rooms and the common areas, the coffee + breakfast that’s included (I made an avocado toast with fresh fruit), the pool and outdoor bathtub, and the prime location. It’s also dog friendly for those with furry friends:) Enjoy the desert my friends.
