This weekend I was invited to have a sleepover with some of my friends at the Urban Cowboy B&B in Williamsburg and it was the most epic weekend of the year. I don’t even know how to describe this place besides magical, ethereal, perfect – so many good vibes. I felt like I was in Mammoth or Vermont or anywhere but New York – it was the ultimate escape – the perfect Wild West aesthetic. We all left as close friends and got to know each other on another level while creating content – there was no where else I would have rather been – I was so in the present moment. We all loved the experience so much that we decided to make it a monthly event and I’m already pitching the location to multiple brands because this place really and truly inspired me. Lyon, the owner, is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met in New York and really made us all feel at home here. The B&B has 5 room available to rent – 1 being the cabin in the back which I highly recommend. Everything in the house is decorated to the t – the decor was real life Pinterest or Tumblr – so perfect. PS. There is a hot tub running 24/7…. Just sayin’.
We were so lucky to have Sarah Ashley – owner of Salt House Mkt – prepare the most delicious dinner and brunch for us. We also became the best of friends and I look forward to working with her in the future. Gatherings like this are the best for bringing creatives together because you can talk about ideas and then work with new people after and create even more memories. Magical.
Neighbors passing by would come in for a beer and then invite their friends over. Then before you know it I am pouring shots of vodka in mason jars for everyone and the cigarettes are lighting up. Lyon is really doing something special with this spot and I can’t wait for them to expand into other cities. Yeehawwwwww. Follow them on Instagram @urbancowboybnb.
Special thank you to Natalie Amrossi aka @misshattan for putting this magical night together. SMOOCHES.
