My One Way Ticket To Bali AdventuresMy One Way Ticket To Bali Adventures - A Trip That Changed My Life

Booking a one way ticket to Bali was the best impulse decision I have ever made. These Bali adventures truly changed my life for the best… The moment I glanced out the plane window and laid eyes on “The Island of The Gods” as they call it, I was immediately full of excitement, energy and wonder. I just knew I was about to embark on a life changing adventure.

Bali feels as though it is another dimension. The days don’t fly by because you’re present in every single moment. It is one of the only places I truly feel as though photos, videos and words will never do the island justice because it is about the energy and experience of the island. The experience and energy cannot be explained nor understood until you experience it for yourself. And when you do go you will never want to leave – so I recommend a one way ticket;)

Here are my adventures and suggestions on where to stay, swim and what to see and experience. I recommend you go for at least 1-2 weeks because each town is very different. Bali is a place where you will want to and should take your time to get the full experience. Enjoy and comment any additional recommendations below!

These photos below were from my first night in Bali. It happened to be the Balinese New Year’s Eve called “Nyepi” or “Silence Day.” The whole island participates in this ceremonial parade known as “Ogoh-ogoh.” This is where Crash Bandicoot got inspiration for the Ogoh-ogoh man!!! #lowkeynerd If you don’t know what I’m referring to check this.

Anyways, during this parade demonic statues and floats fill the streets symbolizing bad spirits. Then at the end of the night the floats are all burned as a symbol of cleansing the evil away for a positive new year.

The following day you are not supposed to leave the house or use technology. It is kind of like a cleanse and reset meant for reflection and meditation to focus on peace within ones self. Honestly, it was the only time I enjoyed being forced to relax. The Balinese culture is truly so beautiful and made me even more grateful for everything.

I love you, Bali.
