I love this dress by Gentlefawn. It is so easy to throw on and layer, plus the color is really versatile. It is so lightweight I could wear this come Summer time…Oh dreaming of Summer time. And this Rag & Bone hat… It makes any outfit and not to mention it is a life saver for those bad hair days…We all have those bad hair days, admit it.

Read on for my favorite spots in the city, information for upcoming fashion week events, a little music and some inspirational quotes as always.

My ultimate favorite spot for macarons. Much better than Lauderee in my opinion just because they are so fresh, they have a larger and more unique variety, there is a quaint and intimate sitting area with lush couches and the ladies who work there are so friendly. AND there is never a long wait. I hate lines. Go check it out on 23rd between 6th and 7th, you will love it. (La Maison du Macaron)

Finally made it to the IFC (Independent Film Center) this weekend to see the “2014 Oscar Nominated Live Action Short Films”. This is my new favorite theater and I cannot wait for more indie films to show here. I have a new found appreciation for films, especially independent films and I intend to watch more and become better educated in the art form.

Brunch at 12 Chairs, a cute Mediterranean spot in Soho. And yes there are more than 12 chairs.

And yeah, that sums up my weekend. I also watched “Nine” again to get me more excited for Milan. I love the soundtrack, so classic I can’t help but dance to it. I placed my favorite song below, enjoy:)

And get ready for these following events! Sure to be a great turn out but make sure you RSVP

 Inspiration of the day:

“The most valuable things in life are not measured in monetary terms. The really important things are not houses and lands, stocks and bonds, automobiles and real estate, but friendships, trust, confidence, empathy, mercy, love, and faith.”

Bertrand Russell

“Always dream and shoot higher than you know you can do. Don’t bother just to be better than your contemporaries or predecessors. Try to be better than yourself.”

William Faulkner
