The Coolest Things To Do In NYC

NYC will always feel like a home to me even though I only lived there for 5 years, but who knows, maybe I’ll get a place there in the future:) *manifesting* For now I want to share with you the coolest things to do in NYC because I just got back from a girls trip & it was epic.

Things To Do

SUMMIT ONE VANDERBILT – this just opened in October 2021 and it’s a must. We got to go for a press preview so the cafe & bar weren’t open yet but they look EPIC and it’s 100% worth it.

Little Island – another new NYC landmark to check out. It’s free but make sure to make a reservation if you’re going on the weekend.

The Edge – a new NYC landmark that is the highest sky deck in the Western Hemisphere! This is an adventure for those who love big thrills & don’t have vasovagal. If you don’t want to hang off the edge of the building, you can enjoy the observation deck which is almost as epic.

Top Of The Rock – another great place for 360-degree views.

Bike the Hudson  – this is niche but one of my favorite things that I do every time I’m in NYC is walk or bike the Hudson from about where Little Island is, down to Battery Park. The views, the ambiance, the people – perfection.

Museum Of Ice Cream – great place to go with friends & perfect for photo ops.

Whitney Museum – cool museum & it’s in a great place so afterwards you can walk the High Line & shop or walk over to Little Island.

MOMA – had to include the classics.

MET – during summer they open the rooftop so you can go enjoy a drink & watch the sunset.

Color Factory – this is another museum experience that’s epic & great for creatives.

Arcadia Earth – a colorful themed installations focused on climate change & sustainability with interactive elements.

Brooklyn Bridge – another one of my favorite walks is the Brooklyn Bridge. Go for the views.

Washington Square Park – great for people watching.

Shopping in Soho – some of the best shopping in the US.

West Village – I used to live here so I’m bias but it really is such a quaint part of the city.

MORE FUN THINGS TO DO

Central Park  – Central Park is huge & there’s so much to do. Grab a coffee & go for a walk.

The Vessel at Hudson Yards – Hudson Yards has great shopping indoors too so it’s a great place to go if it’s cold out.

Grand Central Station– if you’ve never seen it, you gotta go. It feels like a romantic movie scene.

Chelsea Market – there’s about 35 vendors in this indoor market which makes it another great place to go if it’s too cold outside. Sometimes there’s really good sample sales here too.

One World Observatory & the Oculus – they did such a great job on these projects & the architecture is next level.

Brooklyn – definitely go to Brooklyn for at least a day! There’s so much to do in BK and the views of the city are stunning.

Casa Cipriani – this is a members only spot that’s perfect for dinner & drinks. Love the Art Deco decor, drinks, & overall ambiance – it’s what Soho House used to be like in a good way. Get anything with mezcal;)

Socialista – cool Caribbean inspired lounge owned by Cipriani & has fun music.

Little Sister – if you love hip hop & love to dance – go to Little Sister. I can’t remember the last time I was dancing on top of tables but I loved it.

Paul’s Casablanca – if you love disco – go to Paul’s Casablanca & dance the night away.
