7 Reasons You Need To Stay At The W Dubai The Palm
Our stay at the W Dubai The Palm was AMAZING! We took so many cool photos on the property which I’ll share below along with 7 reasons why you should stay at the W Dubai The Palm. Keep scrolling kiddo, this hotel review is one of my favorites;)
The Pools
I love & appreciate hotels with multiple pools because I am one of those weirdos who likes uncrowded pools. The layout of the pool at the W Dubai The Palm are state of the art, spacious, and relaxing.
The Beach
There’s literally nothing better in life than waking up and going for a walk on the beach. The beach at the W Dubai The Palm has soft white sand, chill lounge chairs, cozy cabanas, and a magnificent view of the Dubai skyline. It is so peaceful, quiet, and clean – one of the cleanest beaches I’ve ever seen near a metropolitan city.
The Location
The W Hotel Dubai is located on the Palm which are manmade islands. It’s clean, safe, beautiful, relaxing, and yet conveniently close to everything. You’re 5-10 minutes from the Dubai Marina, 20 minutes from the Dubai Mall, and 30 minutes from Dubai’s Old Quarter.
The Restaurants
We went to Akira Back which is a Japanese restaurant on the roof. Delicious drinks, good food, one of the best views of Dubai, and a modern sleek vibe.
The brunch at the W Dubai The Palm is a MUST. Every single morning we went downstairs and ate breakfast at the brunch buffet. They have EVERYTHING at their brunch and it’s all delicious. Each morning I had a fresh omelette from the egg station, toast, pastries ( you MUST try the avocado & charcoal croissant – sounds weird but trust me), coffee, fresh juices, fruits, and cereal. Joe loved the pancakes, omelettes, scrambles, and bacon. I didn’t take any photos of our brunches because we both eat too fast in the morning, but trust me, it’s delicious.
The Design
I love W Hotels because they’re always so sleek, modern, edgy, & fun. The W Dubai The Palm did not disappoint. Dubai in general is all super modern as well, but the W did such a great job at incorporating Dubai’s style with their own when it came to interior design. The hotel is fairly new too so everything is super clean.
The Rooms & Views
The rooms at the W Dubai The Palm are modern, sleek, and comfortable. Each room has a mesmerizing view from the balcony. We were facing the endless Arabian Sea where we saw mega yachts passing by constantly in the distance. It was one of the most bougie views I’ve ever had. I’ve never seen so many yachts in my life and I lived on Brickell River in Miami.
The Service
The quality of service at the W Hotel Dubai was exceptional during our stay. Not only was everyone friendly, but also accommodating, kind, and helpful. It was the little things I appreciated the most. The rooms were cleaned at least twice a day and the staff was always checking in to see if we needed any restocking for the mini bar, towels, etc.
EXTRA
WAKE UP CALL FESTIVAL
Disclaimer: This trip I was working & sponsored by W Hotels to cover their music festival – Wake Up Call Fest, which I have covered previously.
Wake Up Call Festivals are truly my ultimate favorite music festivals because I love being able to go back to my room in between sets. It’s so much easier to get food, drinks, find your friends, and go home whereas at festivals like Coachella it’s a whole ordeal and honestly kind of stressful and hectic in my personal opinion. At Wake Up Call you don’t have to worry about cell reception, your battery dying, or carrying everything you need for the whole day. You have everything you need at the property and can be present.
The fact that this Wake Up Call Festival was on the beach was incredible. Dancing with your toes in the sand in Dubai on a beach with your friends – it doesn’t get any better.
I can’t wait to come back to Dubai, hopefully sometime next year for the World Expo. If you’re thinking about booking a trip to Dubai and staying here, DO IT! You will not regret it. Dubai is like nothing else you’ll ever experience.
