I am so excited to finally share with you my first six page piece in Nylon Singapore!!! Zhi Wei and I covered New York and London fashion week to give you a tour of the behind the scenes experiences of a fashion blogger/journalist and a photographer. This was my first time to London and it was one of the most memorable trips yet. I cannot wait to return! From getting a grand tour of Harrods by their amazing International PR team to the elaborate designers shows to the enjoyable sightseeing to the parties to creating new friendships to seeing the legendary Prince perform live to experiencing high tea; this was an adventure I will surely never forget. Some highlights were the top designer shows including Tom Ford, Paul Smith, Vivienne Westwood and Burberry where I saw my girls Cara Delevingne and Jourdan Dunn walk. (And p.s.-Harry Styles bumped into me on the runway after the show…and yes I consider that a highlight). The Burberry show was one of my favorite productions yet, so well done. Not only was the collection gorgeous but also the music performance by Paloma Faith was simply stunning, such a grand experience.

The Tom Ford show was another unforgettable venture. The whole time I was singing Jay Z’s song in my head “I don’t pop molly , I rock Tom Ford,” of course while wearing my TF sunglasses inside. (Yes, I had an Anna moment, no I do not think I am that cool). The collection was another one of my favorites because each piece was wearable and not too over the top. I respect Tom so much as a designer and truly loved his collection. While leaving the show I got stuck with Anna Wintour in a paparazzi mosh pit…not going to lie it was the only moshpit I would ever consider being in again. #AdoptMeAnna. Just kidding I love my mum.

Zhi and I barely had time to sightsee but we did see squeeze in all the main attractions including the Big Ben, the Crown Jewels, Westminister Abbey,Buckingham Palace, Portobello Market, Notting Hill and The London Eye. It was a whirlwind of excitement and I loved every minute of it. I LOVE YOU LONDON.

I am so excited to start this new venture in my career as a journalist. Thank you everyone in my life who has been there for me, I love you all so much, words can’t describe my gratitude.
