Music is such a powerful and timeless art form that can change countless people’s lives eternally.
I’ve always been obsessed with music ever since I can remember. The first thing I spent my own money on when I was a kid, was the 50 Cent – Get Rich Or Die Tryin‘ album and Nelly’s – Hot In Here album. Then I saved up to buy my first iPod because my parents were, and still are, slow adapters – especially when it comes to technology. So yeah, I’ve always loved and appreciated music.
The first feature I’m excited to share with you is Joe Hodges Self-Titled.
Over the past year, I’ve been able to watch the project come to fruition after countless hours of hard work. Self-Titled features artists from Toronto, LA, New York City, and Charlotte. The vibe of the project is a mix of new age R&B, hip-hop, and trap. This E.P. is sonically and thematically universal in feelings. The diverse, yet unified production hits hard with the drums, evoking emotions you didn’t know you had. The visuals, lyrics, and music are aesthetically sensual, sexy, and passionate, yet hard and motivating as he combines artists from diverse cities which contribute to different, unique sounds. A perfect listen for late nights, new love, and nights out.
