This editorial was shot by Vogue Italia’s Neave Bozorgi and we shot it in the infamous Hollywood, California. I’m going to call it “Hollywood Glamour” because it is the true essence of what Hollywood was and is like for the famous and socialites.  A young lady enjoying the California air as she smokes her cigarette on her balcony of her suite located on Sunset boulevard. It doesn’t get anymore Hollywood. She hangs out in her suite when not on set or at events, just enjoying the couple seconds she has to breathe and take in the world. I spent this weekend meeting multiple celebrities  including Ciara, Tyga, Busta Rhymes, Christina Milian and Jordan Newton. Why all black? Because it was the weekend of the BET’s…duh. Went to a Young Money Cash Money event at the new opening of Philippe Chow in Beverly Hills and the EPIC record release party at the W. Overall a really chill weekend. Reminded me of last year when I was filming on set for Oxygen’s Hair Battle Spectacular with Eva Marcille in LA and I basically lived at Sunset Gower studios for almost 2 months. We became a family and I spent more time with them than anyone for that period of time. Made some of the best friendships that I still have to this day. I actually became best friends with the casting director Jessica who I am still great friends with. Most chill and down to earth person I ever met in LA. Ahhh the good ol’ days.

There really is no other place like California, especially southern California. There is something about it, it’s just …perfect. Miss the family and friends there all the time. Living in 1010 Wilshire with my bestie Jenna Todey was one of the best times of my life. Katana on the reg, Santa Monica 3rd Street promenade, LA fashion week and rooftop parties. It was the good life. In a couple years I wouldn’t mind being bicoastal so I can have the best of both worlds. Or they can just invent a teleporter machine already and I would be the happiest girl in the world.

Enjoy the rest of your week people.

xoxo
