The Best Long Lasting Perfume You’ve Been Searching For – Clive Christian
Finding the best long lasting perfume can take years, at least for some of us. Finding a smell you like isn’t the difficult part, it’s discovering a perfume that actually lasts throughout the day that can be a quest.
Even if you like the scent, you don’t know if it’s actually going to last more than a few hours and how it’s going to mix with your body scent, etc.
I’ve liked a lot of perfumes over the years, but I recently discovered Clive Christian Perfumes, and I’m completely obsessed. I’ve finally found perfumes that smells amazing and last all day.
Besides unique scents, the options they have for people who travel a lot are PERFECT. Clive Christian recently came out with their ICONS Discovery Set which has 4 scents that all can fit into their chic travel case. I LOVE these because when traveling I like to bring at least two perfumes, one for day time and one for the evening, so this set is perfect for that, giving you multiple options that you can easily pack for your travels.
The ICONS Discovery Set is also great for those who don’t know which scent they want to commit to. Clive Christian also sells large bottles of perfume, so before you buy one of those you can test these four scents to see which ones you love the most.
An important highlight on Clive Christian Perfumes is that all of their perfumes are classified as “Parfum” which means that they all have at least a 20% – 25% perfume oil concentration, which is the reason the smell lasts longer than your average perfumes.
There are different categories in perfumery for perfume types with certain concentration. Concentration refers to the amount of pure perfume oil within a fragrance. Eau de Toilette, for example, has a perfume concentration of about 10%, whilst Eau de Parfum 15%. Perfumes that are classified as actual Parfum boast a concentration of over 20%.
The higher the concentration, the higher the longevity on the skin which means that a Parfum lasts significantly longer on your skin than an Eau de Parfum. One can expect a Parfum to last 8-12 hours whilst an Eau de Parfum might only last for about six hours.
Where To Buy:
The ICONS set is available online and at Bergdorf’s, Saks, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, Harrods and Harvey Nichols. Or you can purchase below.
