So this series is from my first day in Malta which I spent with the lovely and beautiful Bianca Darmanin-a native Maltese fashion blogger. Hands down one of the nicest people I have ever met. I had previously emailed her because I found her amazing blog, The Fashion Carousel, while researching Malta. We basically became best friends and I am going back to spend at least a week in Malta this Summer and we are planning a Bali trip. Boom. Soul sistas.

First stop of the day was the Blue Lagoon. Unfortunately it was a bit too windy to take the boats out so we just enjoyed the view of the beautiful ocean. Another reason I need to go back-I must see the Blue Lagoon. I discovered this magical place on Pinterest and will not be satisfied until I see it in person. Anyways,  look at those adorable and curious cats. Such little trouble makers. Malta had kitties EVERYWHERE. I kinda loved it.  #Cat lady

This outfit was rather resort-y as well. I have a serious obsession with rompers and jumpsuits. They just make your life so much easier. The goal is always lighter luggage and one piece always beats two. Also this Chan Luu necklace is one of my favorites. I love love love these colors and the tassels are so hippie chic.

I miss the sunshine so much right now you don’t even understand. Right before writing this post I was looking at flights to California because I miss having Vitamin D in my life. Wah. Plus I miss the fam terribly. So California I will see you in a couple weeks, please stop raining so I can lay by the pool with my lil sis and go to Paradise Cove with Brittany. Thank you.

Back to the post. So before going on this mini Euro trip last month, I thought I would actually be able to write every single day about my experiences and remember to tell all the little stories that occurred…Those were high hopes. I learned that if you want to enjoy every minute of your trip then you need to be in the moment and experience everything while there. I had people to meet and places to see (literally), and I was not going to spend time in my hotel room writing my stories, but rather photographing everything to remind me of the little things. Even keeping receipts and little memorabilia helps you remember and organize your experiences to write about later. Also publishing these sequentially is a task in itself. This was Malta day two but does it really matter? I will share the first day later this week. *Warning-there will be a lengthy amount of stories for how little I stayed here but it was truly an unforgettable experience.

ANYWAYS. I was a bit hungover from all the “shooters” I shared with my love and new friend Bianca (who I will tell you about in my next post) from the night before and had just gotten out of the shower to shoot at 8:30 AM with Elisa. Elisa is awesome. She studied photography in London and now lives in Malta but travels to England a lot for work as well. I am so happy to have collaborated with her because she is so talented and very entrepreneurial. She even put together her own exhibition in Malta. You go girl! I really felt like I knew everyone in Malta for years. Maybe I was just really excited, but seriously everyone I met was so nice. It was the most refreshing getaway and I literally cannot wait to go back. Ahhhh.

We shot this series down by the sea in Valletta-the capital of Malta. It was so beautiful and refreshing. Fresh air is a luxury when you live in New York so I was literally breathing it all in. How cute is this little run down restaurant? It has so much character and I love the bright colors.

I love the cut of this Zamrie top. So simple yet so structured, strong and chic. The color is quite fresh and screams Spring – perfect for March. And this Chan Luu skirt is one of my new favorites-super neutral and dainty- the way I like it.To complete the look I carried my favorite Gigi New York bag for a little bold maroon pop. AHHH I miss being able to wear only one layer. New York, please get warmer. Pretty please. Malta, I love you I love you I love you.
