Grease and Glamour

Trop Rouge

Hellooo my lovelies. It has been the craziest 5 days since New York Fashion Week has started. Barely have had time to sleep, eat or do anything normal for that matter. But I have tons of backstage footage for you as well as street style so I promise the wait is worth it;)

So I can’t complain about my mayhem schedule this past week because my Mercedes-Benz NYFW started off pretty well with getting featured in Cosmo’s Top 15 NYC bloggers list literally right before I left Nina’s apartment to go to Day 1 at Lincoln Center. Can’t say I wasn’t ecstatic. May have called mom, dad and the sisters until they picked up. And the best part? It didn’t stop there, I got featured in Harper’s Bazaar Street Style which was photographed by one of my favorite photographers, Mr. Newton, and can be found along with all my other features in the Press section. Mr. Newton is the new homie, may be one of the chillest photographers I have ever came across. He shoots pretty much everything for Harpers Bazaar street style amongst others. #trill

After that Elle USA featured me with my Zaden Row balloons on their instagram along with my homegirl Sola and then my Bahama Mama post was featured on Bongo’s facebook page. Elle’s instagram is really spot on and I recommend you follow them if you want the insider sneak peaks to the runway shows and street style.

Also got featured on Fashionista.com with the Zaden Row balloons again. I want to give a special shoutout to Helianthus for dressing me for Day 1. They are a NYC boutique and you can shop the look amongst other great pieces here. Tell your friends, mama, papa, man, boy toy or whoever buys you your presents about Zaden Row so you can make sure they get you something you  will actually want to wear.

That is all for tonight because I have lots of homework and work to tend to. FIT should really think about considering Fashion Week as a holiday and giving us the week off… But seriously.

xoxo
