This Skull Cashmere sweater is so comfortable. Honestly I wore it 3 days in a row. Don’t judge. And these Scotch + Soda suede pants are some of my new favorites as well – warm and comfortable. Boom.

Lattes all day erryday.

Oh haiii.

Ummmm….this made my morning.

Ended up at Bond street.

Five Leaves brunch.

Found the coolest and most interesting books and old records at Rough Trade which is close to the Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg. They are a rather new establishment and have recently started showing shows there. Just check them out because it is such a sick spot. Oh and yes I have a new obsession with Wes Anderson thanks to Ryan. If you haven’t seen The Grand Budapest HotelΒ then you need to go see it ASAP. The cinematography is beautiful and you will probably have whimsical dreams about the film. Whimsical my friends.

Brooklyn Bowl and the Brooklyn Brewery are right next to each other and also both very cool spots. Brooklyn Bowl is a great place for large groups or birthdays or fam days or dates even. Basically anything. My suggestion- go to the brewery then go bowling.

A Saturday spent exploring Greenpoint and Williamsburg is a Saturday well spent my friends. It is so refreshing to get out of Manhattan once in a while to breathe some fresh air and be able to hear yourself think. Plus I love exploring culture rich places full of character (and of course hipsters) so Brooklyn is the best place to go.

We started out having brunch at Five Leaves which is a really cool spot in Greenpoint where they play rasta music, have fresh flowers on the tables and the vibe is really relaxed and chill. My type of place. I highly recommend the Bircher Muesli and the Bruleed Grapefruit. Oh yes and for those of you who are addicted to truffle fries, they have those too. Delish. Then after brunchin’ here we took a stroll around the area and checked out the old town houses, little shops and random streets.

Then we explored some of Williamsburg and all the vintage shops full of random cool things. We checked out the Brooklyn Brewery, Brooklyn Bowl, Rough Trade and the Wythe Hotel which were all really cool spots. The Wythe Hotel has one of the best views of Manhattan hands down. Go explore!

Inspiration of the day:

“Three billion people on the face of the earth go to bed hungry every night, but four billion people go to bed every night hungry for a simple word of encouragement and recognition.”

— Cavett Robert

Another great quote from my loving dad. Tell someone you love them today and that you appreciate them. Encourage, inspire and enlighten. MWAH.

Song of the day: “Simple Things” by Miguel

Obviously heard this song on HBO’s “Girls.” Great lyrics.
