Spent the weekend wandering around Soho and West Village, my favorite areas in the city. This was on Gay Street which is close to my new favorite puppy AND coffee shop called Why Not? Such a cool and young area. (See photos of Why Not? below.) Definitely a cool spot to check out – they serve coffee AND soy chai lattes AND macarons AND wine. Basically heaven on Earth. I would love to live on Gay Street just so that could be my address and because the area is one of the best in the city. And also maybe because of the puppy store. And they did have especially tasty lattes…
So yes as you can see I wore my boyfriends coat. This has been becoming a more common look amongst women- i.e. Isabel Marant’s oversized coats – and you see women wearing oversized pieces often. I love this coat paired with this black Gentlefawn Skirt. The simplicity with the small slit in the back is subtly sexy. I also love these feminine Paul Mayer shoes that match perfectly with my Made For Pearl clutch. Such dainty and perfect spring pieces that I can wear year round. When wearing a “boyfriend coat” make sure to keep the rest of your outfit rather feminine because the goal is not to look like your boyfriend. Capiche?
Brunch at Extra Virgin. Try the Mediterranean Salad – so good.
Had to stop by the LXR. & Co. store of course. Go to their new store in Soho and check out these beautiful special edition pieces painted by artist Mike Frederiqo.
And I know I said it before but I highly recommend everyone see Wes Anderson’s new film The Grand Budapest Hotel. I promise you’ll have better dreams due to the grand visuals in the film.

Song of the day: “Happy” by Pharrell
And if you want to listen to this song 24 hours a day, that is possible on Pharrell’s site here. Be HAPPY, BE GAY. This song should be your alarm ringtone. I don’t know about you but it puts me in the best groovy mood ever.
