Inspiration of the day:

“Gratitude is the sweetest thing in a seeker’s life – in all human life. If there is gratitude in your heart, then there will be tremendous sweetness in your eyes.”

–Sri Chinmoy

Spring is upon us! Let there be color. Everywhere. And prints. And blooming flowers. And cherry blossoms. And smiles. And puppies… Ahhh I am so happy to break out the more colorful pieces in my wardrobe and add some more pizzazz to my everyday outfits. It is so refreshing to see so much color on the streets of NYC. Spice up yo life!

This look is very Spring and back to school with this awesome bomber and backpack. Mi-Pac makes the BEST backpacks for weekend adventures such as this one to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.

PS. I recently went to IFC (my favorite theater in NYC) and saw the documentary on The National called “Mistaken For Strangers” and I highly recommend it. I think this was great for the band because now I feel a special connection to the band and I am kind of newly obsessed with their music. The lead singer, Matt, is such an inspiration and you can tell he is really down to earth and has so much patience. Listen below and go see the documentary. FYI- It’s also on Netflix.
