New York City is one of the greatest cities in the world, a place that even when I am alone – I always feel right at home. New York has a special energy that draws in millions of people from all over the globe with their ambitious dreams and it holds the keys to achieve them. NYC is the city of endless opportunities and people who make shit happen because they understand that time is money. It is a city that is constantly evolving and bettering itself – qualities that make this city so incredibly interesting and alive.
After living in NYC for 6 years I continue to be pleasantly surprised with new restaurants, hotels, lounges, bars, clubs, coffee shops, stores, museums, attractions, bodegas, people, and the overall vibes on each and every street. I’ve lived all over this extremely compact yet expansive city – collecting memories. Wall Street, Tribeca, Battery Park, Chelsea, Upper West Side, Herald Square and West Village – some neighborhoods I enjoyed more than others but I will never forget the little nor big moments in each spot. New York has formed me. Trained me. Beat me down. Built me up. Taught me to work harder, smarter and never give up. Taught me how to do business, how and when to ask for what I want, when to say no. Taught me to always be honest, not care what anyone thinks, and to not get upset about what they say. New York taught me that I control my life and am responsible for where I am; taught me life lessons you simply cannot learn in Southern California. I owe it to New York for giving me an ambitious attitude to balance my California happy-go-lucky disposition. I wouldn’t change any move I’ve ever made – it all made me who I am today and I am forever grateful for each person I have crossed paths with, the memories we’ve shared and the things we’ve accomplished. Together.
