Guess what day it is guys? Hump dayyyyy. (That was a GEICO commercial reference for those who didn’t catch it…) I flew into Charlotte, North Carolina today to meet my family to help my sis move into her dorm. Mind you I just landed in New York from California Monday night…I don’t believe in time zones anymore. It has been an eventful and nonstop couple of days but I live for the constant activities honestly…

So yesterday I had my styling session with Refinery 29 and LOFT for a collaboration project which we will shoot Monday and I can share with you soon enough, I am actually really excited. Then after a couple back to back meetings and trying to unpack and pack I went to the Charlotte Ronson event at Soul Cycle and had the opportunity to take a class with the founder Stacey. I honestly had no idea how amazing this experience was going to be…Let’s just say it was actually life changing and Soul Cycle is my new religion. Nuff said. She is such an inspirational person and the class didn’t even feel like a workout…until today. (I already looked up the best spas in Charlotte). It hurts so good.

We shot this look on a rooftop in New York around the West Village, one of my favorite hoods. The heart cutout jersey tank is perfect for Summer and is such a pick me up color and then this printed kimono….the print is just one of those prints… It’s a winner. The whole outfit is comfortable and easy going, like Sunday mornings. (So cheesy, I know). But wait can we talk about how Miami inspired this look is? It’s definitely the sunglasses along with all the white and gold going on here but hey Miami is Summer year round so it works. Twerk it.

xoxo
