Throwback Thursday to this hell of a night at Be Electric Studios for the Street Dreams Magazine Issue .004 Release Party. These photos by Sean are just too legit to not post and this event was too epic to not to share with the world – priceless memories captured from that night – too lit to quit.
If you aren’t already familiar, Street Dreams Magazine is a quarterly, curated photographic publication that features photographers from around the globe – focusing on creating a strong and inspiring community – a visual movement.
Sapporo, Mashable and Highsnobiety were all part of the event which I think is so cool and represents such a major movement amongst the Instagram community and how influential and strong it is becoming. I love nothing more than seeing a bunch of creative people in one place – inspiring, learning and growing with one another. It’s one of the many reasons I can’t get enough of New York City – it’s the place where everyone comes to pursue their ambitions and inspirations – all accomplishing their dreams and supporting one another along the way.
I think it is so important for everyone to remember why we all do what we do in the first place – it all stems from passion and wanting to live our lives in a fulfilling manner. So many people thriving because they are doing what they truly love to do on a daily basis – creating and innovating – living their lives to the fullest – and sharing those experiences with the world to inspire others. Instagram is such a powerful platform that allows us to discover and explore unique content, people and cultures from every single city in the world. It honestly feels like one big global family.
This community is certainly one of a kind and it has opened my eyes to so much more – changing my perspective completely on certain things for the better. Since falling into the Instagram community I’ve made numerous true friends whom I never would have met if it weren’t for this phone app – call me crazy but it’s 100% true and I am more than grateful for all of you. I love our generation.
