All photos by Zhi Wei, the great.

What. A. Day. Zhi did a phenomenal job as usual capturing all the special moments throughout the day. This was by far my favorite experience I have had yet, but I say that every season because the experience continues to get better and better and I keep making new awesome friends who inspire me and remind me why I love the industry. The shows are so much more fun when you have a partner in crime, and Zhi is the ultimate best. Everyone should follow him on Instagram for live updates from the shows and excellent street style and editorial photos- @zzhiwei. And you can follow me too if you feel like it-amy_marietta. #Shamelessselfpromotion. We will be covering London Fashion Week for Nylon Singapore and Lookbook.nu as well so there will be plenty more photos coming along including plenty of outfits, food and touristy photos. And probably some partying and event pics too. The usual.

So we started the day at the Nicholas K show which was amazing and they had a really cool and new layout, keeping things interesting and allowing everyone to see the pieces up close and personal. It was a pretty much a structured maze where the seating was in the middle and surrounding the walls as well. The collection was full of detailed knots and draping fabrics which were beautiful. I want every pair of pants from the collection. EVERY PAIR.

Then we went to Richard Chai backstage which was my first time backstage and it was a really cool experience. It’s fun to hang out with the models, what can I say. But it is even more fun to watch the designer get things ready and put the last finishing touches on the models before they hit the runway. Richard Chai is one of my favorite designers and this collection did not disappoint. The music, models, styling and hair and make up were all on point creating a beautiful show.

Then we ended the day with Costello Tagliapetra at Milk Studios and the Cres. E Dim presentation. Both beautiful collections full of silks, colors and structured pieces.

And thank you Stylelist Getty Images Huffington Post for featuring me! You guys are awesome.

Stay tuned for more updates. Smooches.
