This past month has been full of new and exciting major life changes and events – however – I can’t say anything proper until the press releases go out. BUT I am a bit excited to share a plethora of stories on my recent experiences with you within the next couple weeks…
I am officially tri-coastal – LA/NY/MIA – just got a place in Miami – right before SWIM WEEK this past weekend – insane. Words won’t do the experiences justice but it was something I will always remember and will expand on in the book I’m currently writing.
Minor detail to explain the new pad in MIA: I became Director of Marketing at a Nasdaq company and I am beyond passionate about the project. If you told me this is where I would be 2 months ago… I’d probably say I’m not opposed to the idea – let’s do this. Anything is possible – that’s been my life motto since I was 16 – just remember that you should always be yourself. Learn how to adapt but don’t change who you are or what you believe in. I think it is important to get outside your comfort zone and test yourself constantly. Everything is a learning experience and you need to always have the hunger to learn and better yourself and others.
I also just bought my own first car – another big girl move that felt rather awesome. Still need to name her though… Thoughts?
These photos are from my first official shoot in the Design District with the most stylish, creative and unique person I’ve ever met in Miami – @arielpenzer. Her, along with three handfuls of other people, have been nothing but helpful – love you all so much and thank you for being such awesome humans – I already feel like I have a Miami familia. It’s a refreshing city and I feel like a million new opportunities are being created.
I will still continue to work with brands, blog etc but I will also be sharing more of my work experiences and how to better yourself and land your dream job with the right work ethic and mindset.
