Desert Rose – A Visual For A.M. CLUB

Filmed and edited by Amy Marietta and Joe Hodges in Palm Springs, California.

As visual creatures, we associate places, themes, sounds and emotions together through different visual mediums and music. Videos can create an experience and inspire the culture, which is why I am striving to create more videos this year and broaden my creative aesthetic spectrum. I designed my brand, A.M. Club, with a bigger purpose in mind, other than providing you with the most unique, luxury silk items. I wanted to create a “club” or “community” where everyone with an open mind is welcome. A place for the passionate. A place to inspire. A place for you.

Issa lifestyle.

I hope this video inspires you to create ruthlessly, spread love abundantly, and embrace your feelings truthfully.

To travel lustfully, embrace your sexuality whole-heartedly, and live passionately.

Of course – I also wanted to show you some more ways to wear awesome silk pieces ;).

My Desert Rose

my desert rose

My desert rose, my oasis, my love.

Joey and I took a quick trip to Palm Springs in between hectic Coachella weekends to avoid the madness and it was once again, magical. This experience was much different than the last being that we stayed in an amazing, super Pinterest-like home thanks to The house was only 7 miles from the Ace Hotel, yet completely isolated and quiet. 3 bedrooms, a jacuzzi, Wifi, full kitchen – we cannot wait to go back and take some friends next time – make a long weekend out of it. Here is my photo diary from the trip and I hope this inspires you to get out there for an adventure and take a trip. Try a new place you haven’t been before. Go get creative and do whatever makes you feel alive.

The Perfect Place to Reset – Malibu

malibu sunset 2017
Outfit by Superdry and A.M. We often get so caught up in our routines and to do lists, that we can lose sight of why we do what we do and what our goals are in life. There are so many things that are important to reflect upon and appreciate to keep our minds and lives authentic, meaningful, and full of passion. And there is something about nature and being close to the ocean that calms me and makes me reflect and appreciate everything.  My favorite place I always go back to for a mind reset and escape is Malibu. The drive along PCH gets me every time. It's nearly impossible for me to be upset with this scenic view. Here are some...

Chateau Marmont: Penthouse Edition

All silk scarves are A.M. Silk outfits by GRANA/ Photos by @joe_hodges, @micaelacarabin, and yours truly. I love Los Angeles. Not just because it is home here in sunny California, but there is truly no other place like it. I love the promise of palm trees and warm weather. I love the history behind each and every landmark, hotel suite, and street corner. I love the unholy mix of grit and glamour.                                                                 LA is both a dream and dream deferred. The sunrises, sunsets, and golden hours in between, mixed with the LA culture, are...
